What to Expect
Every bride is different. Here's how we make sure your gown fits perfectly.
Schedule early
Book your alterations about 4 months before your wedding, and we'll begin the work around 2 months out — plenty of time, no last-minute rush.
Three appointments
Your gown is perfected over three fittings. The first two run about an hour each; your final fitting is a quick 30 minutes — then you're ready.
What to bring
Bring the shoes and undergarments you'll wear on your wedding day to every fitting. The right fit depends on them.
Your Alteration Timeline
From booking to your final fitting, here’s how the next few months go.
4 Months Out
Call 470-225-7501 to book your fittings. Booking early gets you the days and times you want.
2 Months Out
1st fitting, about 1 hour. Your seamstress pins the hem, bodice and straps, and you choose your bustle style.
4–6 Weeks Out
2nd fitting, about 1 hour. Try on your gown with the main work done. We fine-tune the fit for sitting, walking and dancing.
1–2 Weeks Out
Final fitting, about 30 minutes. One last check, then your gown goes home with you.
